Even when I was a student at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in Germersheim, where I graduated with a degree (Diplom) as a translator for French and English, foreign languages and technology were areas which fascinated me. The subject of my diploma thesis, a terminological study, was capacitors.

After several years of professional experience as a translator in industry, I started my own business and have been freelancing for companies and private persons for more than 25 years. I would be glad to provide references should you need them.

For a long time, I have been a member of the German Association of Interpreters and Translators (Bundesverband der Dolmetscher und Übersetzer, BDÜ) and regularly participate in continuing professional development training in this and other institutions.
